Chapter 4: World War I - The Medal Record of Albert Williams

Albert's daughter, Margaret, knew that her father had served in India on border patrols during the Great War with the South Wales Borderers. There was also talk that he had come into contact with the Turks and that had served in Gallipoli. For recreation during this time he had been a regimental boxer. Sadly, none of his medals can be found, but here are the details from his Medal Roll Index:
